Farmborough Parish Council Budget and Precept 2026-2027
The precept is the Parish Council’s share of the council tax. The Parish Council incurs expenditure and raises income in order to provide its services.
Farmborough is a small village and civil parish, 6 miles (9.7 km) south west of Bath in the unitary authority of Bath & North East Somerset (B&NES), England. Farmborough Parish Council has responsibility for local issues, including setting an annual precept to maintain and repair parish facilities, such as the Memorial Hall, Recreation Ground and Pavilion, allotments and play area. We evaluate local planning applications and work with the local police, B&NES Council officers, and other groups on the maintenance, repair and improvement of highways, drainage, footpaths, public transport and street cleaning. Conservation matters (including trees and listed buildings) and environmental issues are also of interest to the council.
